Deputy US marshal Josie Wells, who was killed in the line of duty, was honored with a procession from Louisiana to Mississippi on Wednesday.
Wells was killed in a shootout as authorities tried to arrest a suspect in a double murder.
The gunman was later shot by police and died of blood loss.
