The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for the suspects behind an early morning home invasion on Wednesday. Around 3:15 am, deputies responded to the 900 block of West Pershing Street in New Iberia.

Once they arrived, officers found a 52-year-old man and a 56-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds. The pair were transported to the hospital for treatment.  Authorities believed two black males wearing masks committed the crime. Deputies have no other details on the suspects at this time.
