Three people, including a father and son, have been arrested in connection to a fatal January shooting. Steven Trahan sr. And Dillion Trahan were initially arrested two days after the January 28th shooting.

Detectives with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office have arrested three subjects related to a shooting/homicide which occurred on 01/28/15 in the 400 Block of Bayou Tortue Rd. Broussard, La.

All three subjects have been booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the below listed charges.

Dillion Trahan has been arrested and charged with second degree murder. Steve Trahan sr. has been arrested and charged with Aggravated assault. Courtney Week has been arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to second degree Murder

Back on January 28th, 25-year-old Silas Tate was killed in the shooting just outside the Broussard city limits. It happened around 10:00 pm at a trailer park in the 400 block of Bayou Tortue Road.

Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Deputies say two groups of people were fighting. When the argument escalated, Tate was shot in the head.
