Two people are dead in what police describe as a double shooting in the 700 block of Glen Street in Opelousas.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Spokesperson, Lt. Clay Higgins, confirmed that deputies were called to the scene just after 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Higgins says a husband and wife were found dead inside of their home. No additional details were released.
Ambulances and detectives are currently on scene, and the investigation is still ongoing. This is a developing story, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
