A two vehicle wreck on I-10 eastbound near the Rayne exit forced the road to be closed for a few hours.

The crash happened right after 1:30 this afternoon. Rayne police say a westbound pick-up truck crossed the median and hit an eastbound Peterbuilt truck. Both vehicles overturned. Officers say the driver of the pick-up was trapped, and later extricated.

Both eastbound lanes were opened a little before 6 pm on Tuesday night.
