Drew Brees, reporting to Saints training camp at the age of 39, offered a moment of reflection and honesty while speaking to the media on Thursday as he heads in to his 18th season in the NFL.
“I understand I don’t have a whole lot of time left,” said Brees.”I want to say I gave it all I could and move on to my next chapter and be at peace (when that time comes).”
Brees recorded an NFL record 72% completion percentage in 2017. He also turned in his lowest interception total(8) as a New Orleans Saint.
