Former Ragin Cajun pitcher and current Chicago White Sox Pitcher Danny Farquhar remains in critical but neurologically stable condition, after suffering a brain hemorrhage and ruptured aneurysm during the team’s game against Houston in Chicago on Friday.
Farquhar’s medical team reported on Monday that Danny is progressing well following a successful surgery
Danny’s former college Coach Tony Robichaux says it’s the important time of his recovery, “He’s off the ventalater, he’s breathing on his own and there are some good things that are happening right now but he’s not out of the woods. These next 24-48 hours I’m sure this next week is going to be very critical but right now there’s a lot of indicaters that are good so we need to just keep praying.””
