Keontae Williams leads the Acadiana Wreckin’ Rams at QB, and he threw a game winning Hail Mary vs. Ruston. And while he’s under center, he realizes it’s a team effort and that this team is special.

Keontae says, “We Fight! We don’t give up, and we had two false starts at the beginning of that game; any other team would have folded right there, that would have been it, but not us. We have great fans that support us, and that helps.  And our coaches are the best… they help us all the time, and that is a big help.”

The Rams have a 1st year quarterback and a 1st year head coach in Matt McCollough.  Coach Matt says players like Keontae makes his 1st year a little easier because of his leadership skills.

Coach Matt says, “He’s done a good job for us.  He works extremely hard, and he’s a good leader because he doesn’t have an ego.  He is willing to do whatever it takes to win.” 

Acadiana host cross-town rival Carencro on Friday Night for the 3rd game of the season.
