OAKLAND (KRON) — The Golden State Warriors are just one win away from breaking the record for most wins in a regular season.

And they have only one more game to do it–Wednesday at home. That is their final regular season game.

The game is at home at Oracle Arena. And as you can imagine, the tickets prices for Wednesday night’s game are off the charts.

“So, it’s a $350 standing room only ticket,” StubHub Chief Security Officer Joseph Asaro said. “If you want to put your feet on the floor to watch this game, it’s going to be north of $15,000 per ticket. If you want to compare this to a couple other things, that is the same price at $350 standing room only as a World Series ticket here in San Francisco.”

That is the going rate to witness history.

StubHub said the average ticket price so far for Wednesday’s game is just over $350, which is on par, if not more, than a Round 1 playoff game.

Even before 72 wins, the Warriors had been the league’s hottest commodity.

But once they beat San Antonio, ticket prices have spiked in the last 24 hours.

“We’ve been seeing a steady ramp up the entire year long, but we definitely saw it jump up since yesterday,” Asaro said. “Yesterday was the tying ball game where the best they could have done was tie the ball game today, but with winning yesterday, they set themselves up for a historic event, so the prices have absolutely jumped up.”

But the astronomical prices aren’t deterring some fans from investing on a chance to see the defending champs set a new all-time record.

“We have five people coming, so the game gets pretty expensive, but you know what, it’s the memory,” Warriors fan Steven Healy said. “You don’t remember the money. You remember the memories. So, I’m willing to go on StubHub and warriors.com to see what i can get.”

“It’s crazy. I heard they are very expensive tickets and really hard to find,” fan Tyler Long said. “I couldn’t imagine ever paying that much money for a basketball game, but it’d be cool to witness.”
