According to a Lafayette Police Department press release, authorities are still searching for 26-year-old Brent Johsnon, the suspect in connection with the shooting death of 39-year-old Jason J. Carbins.
21 year old Ricky Wiltz was shot and killed August 31, 2018 a few miles away.
A suspect, 26-year-old Brownswin Thibodeaux, of Lafayette, surrendered to authorities on September 5, 2018, in connection with the shooting death of Wiltz.
Police say Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous.
