DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (AP) — Sheriff’s deputies in Louisiana are looking for an inmate who walked away from his job on Mardi Gras.
Livingston Parish Sheriff’s spokeswoman Lori Steel told news outlets that 28-year-old Clifton Allen Thames was last seen around 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Denham Springs area.
Thames has been working with the Livingston Transitional Work Program since December. He was working in construction at a business in Denham Springs.
Steele said deputies are hoping for the public’s help in the search.
Thames’ criminal record was not immediately available.
