The Middlebrook family will be joining the Lafayette Chief of Police Toby Aguillard and Deputy Chief Reginald Thomas in leading the Queen’s parade tonight in Lafayette.

“The family of fallen officer Corporal Michael Middlebrook and the men and women of the Lafayette Police Department would like to thank the people of Acadiana for all of the love, prayers, and support we have received,” the Lafayette Police Department announced. 

Also escorting the Middlebrook family will be Sheriff Mark Garber, Chief David Anderson, Chief Ricky Boudreaux and Chief Chad Leger who will be joining Chief Aguillard on police motorcycles.

“All of us in Acadiana law enforcement sincerely thank the people of our community. We look forward to seeing you at the parade tonight,” LPD Chief Toby Aguillard said today.
