A stray bullet landed in a woman’s bed before dawn Tuesday in Church Point.
According to Police Chief Albert Veneable, officers responded to a home on Minnix Alley before dawn after the homeowner reported shots fired inside her home.
Chief Veneable says the bullet went through her front door, hit a wall, and then landed in the bed where she was asleep.
The woman escaped injury, according to Veneable.
He also said that she was not the intended target.
