UPDATE: Authorities have been investigating a residence on Hirsch Alley this afternoon.They now say no human remains were found.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Opelousas Police Department and State Police are conducting an investigation at a residence on Hirsch Alley.

Opelousas Police Chief Donald Thompson said the family of missing Opelousas resident Erica Nicole Hunt has arrived to speak with investigators.

Hunt has been missing from that area for two years.
