2nd UPDATE: Eunice Police are looking for the suspects who fired shots at one another outside a Eunice gas station.

According to Police Chief Randy Fontenot , officers responded to a call at the Raceway gas station in the 100 block of W. Laurel around 8:35 p.m. Sunday.

“When police pulled up, they saw people running everywhere and numerous cars fleeing the scene,” Fontenot said.

A motorcyclist, who had stopped at the gas station, was being treated for non- life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle that fled the area, Fontenot said.

Officers originally received a call of shots being fired during a event called Pack the Park where a local organization was hosting a school supply drive., according to Fontenot.

Moments later, he said, they received a second call of multiple shots being fired in the parking lot of the Raceway.

No injuries were reported, he said.

“At this time, we believe it was people who don’t live in the Eunice area but were attending the event at the park.” Fontenot said.

He added that anyone with information is urged contact Crimestoppers at 948-TIPS (8477)

UPDATE:  We are receiving multiple calls about the location of the incident and are being told by eyewitnesses that the area is near CC Duhon @ US 190.
