LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with a shooting that injured one person last night, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Center Street.
Corporal Paul Mouton said the suspects shot at the victims, who were in sitting in a car, and then drove away. A bullet grazed one of the victim’s head.
“The victims were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” according to Mouton.
The three suspects Isaiah Issac, 24, Earl Shelvin, 24, and Kheila Francis, 22, all of Lafayette, were arrested on May 18, 2016.
Both Issac and Shelvin were charged with attempted second-degree murder.
Francis was charged with principle to attempted second-degree murder.
Lafayette Police are still investigating the case.
