The Franklin Police Department responded to 9 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
3/26/15 @ 3:03 PM, Wilbert Guy Jr., 17, of Second St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Simple Battery on a Juvenile. Guy was processed and released on a $500.00 bond.
3/26/15 @ 11:23 PM, Anthony Bourda, 34, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on a warrant for Suspended Driver’s License. Bourda was processed and released on a $1,000.00 bond.

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 44 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Connie Savoy, 56, 1236 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 26, 2015 at 12:51 pm on a warrant for aggravated second degree battery, hit and run driving, and failure to report an accident. A deputy located Savoy at her residence on the warrant. The warrant was obtained following an investigation into a hit and run that occurred at a residence on Irish Bend Road on March 20, 2015. Based on evidence found at the location, the deputy assigned to the case determined that Savoy struck a male victim with the vehicle she was driving. The victim sustained lacerations to his arm. Savoy then left the scene. No bail is set.
Darrell Wilson, 56, 1236 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 26, 2015 at 12:51 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of theft of goods and misrepresentation during booking. A deputy located Wilson at his residence on the warrant. Bail is set at $2,000.
Juvenile male, 12, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 26, 2015 at 1:10 pm for batter of a school teacher. A school resource officer assigned to the St. Mary Parish Alternative Program responded to a complaint of a student punching a teacher. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the juvenile struck a teacher knocking the male victim to the floor. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Two juvenile females, ages 11 and 15 both from Jeanerette were arrested on March 26, 2015 at 5:07 pm for simple battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the Jeanerette area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the juveniles committed a battery upon a female juvenile victim. The victim sustained a black eye. Following the arrest, both juveniles were released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Duke Guidroz, 29, 1104 Rene O’Guidry Road, Breaux Bridge, LA was arrested on March 27, 2015 at 2:15 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of Schedule I drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. Guidroz was turned in by a bondsman at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. During booking, a jailer located the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.
