A crash shut down the Basin Bridge at Mile Marker 121.5 on Wednesday afternoon. I-10 westbound was closed at LA-415 because of the accident at LA-3177 (east of Henderson).
Motorists were urged to take US 190 from I-10 before the last exit (Ramah).
Traffic was reported backed up 5 miles from the crash around 2:30 p.m.
