A 15-year-old girl was found bound and gagged in a Baton Rouge drainage canal.
Baton Rouge Police spokesman Cpl. L’Jean McKneely tells The Advocate a passer-by noticed the teenager in a ditch Tuesday at about 1:19 p.m.
McKneely says the girl told investigators she was attacked by three males. He could not confirm whether she was sexually assaulted.
The teenager, of Baton Rouge, was reported missing as a runaway Monday night. He says she is being treated at an area hospital
