(The Daily Advertiser) – Approximately 100,000 fans attended this year’s Bayou Country Superfest in Baton Rouge, according to event organizers.

This was the seventh year for the three-day concert event in LSU’s Tiger Stadium. This year’s performers included Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town and more.

Last year’s event drew about 125,000 people, thanks in part to a Friday night performance by Taylor Swift, according to The Associated Press. Last week, Quint Davis, the festival’s producer, said a lower attendance number this year would not be unexpected.

“I don’t know if we will equal that this year, but I think we could still do pretty good, with those on the ticket,” David told the AP.

Bayou Country Superfest, produced by Festival Productions BCM, LLC, a subsidiary of Festival Productions, Inc.-New Orleans, is a co-production with AEG Live and is produced in association with The Messina Group.
