Officials with the Evangeline Parish Water District #1 in Pine Prairie have issued a boil advisory for the community of Easton until further notice. This affects residents from Rock Pitt Road, going south.

The boil advisory has been issued due to a broken water made. Residents should boil water for one full minute after it is brought to a rolling boil.

The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
