BREAUX BRIDGE, La. (KLFY)— One Breaux Bridge man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery, authorities are looking for a second suspect.
According to a spokesperson with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded on July 10, to an armed robbery at a residence in the 1100 block of Hebert Avenue in Breaux Bridge.
A suspect allegedly fired at least two shots from a firearm during the robbery.
Following the investigation, officials say this afternoon, deputies arrested Milton Batiste, 19, of Breaux Bridge. Batiste was charged with armed robbery and illegal use of a weapon.
Following Batiste arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center, his bond was set at $200,000.

Police are also looking for a second suspect who was identified as Trae Richard, 20, of Breaux Bridge. Authorities tell News 10 Richard is wanted in connection with the robbery.
