Early voting wraps up in Lafayette parish this weekend for the March 28th election.
One ballot measure would combine two millages into one. The money would fund mosquito control, the health unit, and animal control. It’s a rededication so taxpayers would not have to pay more out of pocket. The initiative would begin next year and could generate over six (m) million dollars a year. It could help the parish build a new animal control facility.
Voters will also decide if they want to renew a millage for roads and bridges.
