On Monday afternoon, Facebook went dark for many users across the world.
Most users attempting to load the social networking website got error messages on their desktops and phones.
The outage was first reported around 3:03 p.m. est
ORIGINAL STORY: Yes, friends, the power machine known as Facebook is down and has been down for the last 55 minutes. This is the second time in a week Facebook has had outage issues. The website began having issues around 3 p.m. Eastern Time. We’ll update you when the website comes back online.
