More than 200 people attended the Azalea Park Annual Family Fun Day in Lafayette.

The event featured live music and a fun jump followed by a fire truck demo put on by the Lafayette Fire Department.  Free food and refreshments were provided to the hundreds of families under the sun.

In addition, the event featured a rememberance table to honor those who have recently passed away due to gun violence.

Event Organizer Christopher Bernard said, “unity has to start with God, right after God there has to be in your household, and third you come into the community and everyone can come together to stop the killing, the drug dealing, everything, all the crimes and get better””
