On Thursday a three vehicle crash at the intersection of LA Highway 733 and LA Highway 92 in Lafayette Parish claimed the life of Jeanette Laviolette (68).Laviolette, was driving on LA Highway 733 and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection with LA Highway 92. Laviolette turned left onto LA Highway 92 and was struck by a another vehicle. After impact the vehicle pushed Laviolette’s car into oncoming traffic where she struck another vehicle.Laviolette was pronounced dead on the scene. The other two drivers were not injured.
