Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with several early morning car burglaries, according to the Youngsville Police Department.
Chief Rickey J. Boudreaux said officers were conducting routine patrols this morning in the 100 block of Windermere Circle when they spotted two suspects running from a driveway.
Youngsville Police officers chased the suspects on foot and caught them with the help of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.
A total of four suspects were arrested in connection with the vehicle burglaries, according to Chief Boudreaux.
Three of the suspects were juveniles. They were charged with two counts each of simple burglary of a vehicle.

Nicholas Drew Latiolais, 17, was charged with two counts of simple burglary of a vehicle and three counts contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.
Latiolais was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and the three juvenile suspects were taken to the Lafayette Parish Juvenile Assessment Center.
Chief Boudreaux says the suspects could face more charges. The chief also said residents should remember to lock their vehicles.Editor’s Note: Photographs of the three juvenile suspects were not released because the individuals are minors.
