Hundreds of people lined Main Street in Franklin Sunday afternoon, as they patiently waited to pay their respects to Mayci Breaux.
The 21-year-old woman was killed at the Grand Theatre Thursday night.
Officers from three different law enforcement agencies had to help direct traffic as cars and people flooded the city of Franklin to say their goodbyes to Mayci Breaux.
The visitation lasted from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary.
Governor Bobby Jindal was escorted through the side entrance to pay his respects to the 21-year old-victim of the Lafayette Grand Theater shooting.
Breaux was a Louisiana State University at Eunice student. She was studying to be an ultrasound and radiology technician.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held during an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at the Church of Assumption in Franklin.
Mayci Breaux will be laid to rest in Franklin on Monday afternoon.
