On August 7, 2015, at approximately 10:50 pm, Lafayette Police responded to an armed robbery at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Feu Follet Road.  According to the two victims, they were walking to an apartment when a black male approached them with a handgun.  The suspect stole both female victims’ purses and fled the area on foot.  The victims were not injured in the robbery.

At approximately 3:30 am, On August 8, 2015, Lafayette Police responded to an armed robbery at the “On The Run” convenience store, located at 1339 SE Evangeline Thwy.  According to the clerk, a black male suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money.  The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot towards East Pinhook Road.  The clerk was not injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a 6 foot tall black male wearing a dirty white shirt with blue jeans.

Approximately 20 minutes later, at 3:50 am, Lafayette Police responded to an armed robbery in the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.  The victim told officers he was walking near the street when a black male armed with a handgun approached him.  The suspect stole the victim’s cellphone and then fled the scene in a silver Toyota Camry.  The suspect is described as a young black male wearing a black shirt, grey pants and a blue bandana on his head.  The victim was not injured in the robbery.
