LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Police are looking for a juvenile suspect who allegedly stabbed a 16-year-old male last night.
Corporal Paul Mouton said the victim was walking in the 400 block of Bluebird Drive around 7:40 p.m. when he was approached by “an unknown black male juvenile.”
The two young men then got into an argument which police say escalated to a fight where the suspect stabbed the victim once in the stomach.
The suspect then ran from the area. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
