ACADIANA, La. (KLFY)– Meet your first responders at this year’s National Night Out in Acadiana.
- Lafayette- 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the MLK Center, 309 Cora St, Lafayette, LA 70501
- Youngsville- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sugar Mill Pond, 101 Waterview Rd, Youngsville, LA 70592
- Broussard- 5 p.m. at the Albertsons parking lot, 1210 Albertson Pkwy, Broussard, LA 70518
- Carencro- 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Police and Fire station, 5201 N University Ave.
- Lake Arthur- 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lake Arthur Park
According to the National Night Out website, the campaign helps promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. A way to try to enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
The event is celebrated in thousands of communities across the nation as a way to meet your local first responders.
