A 15-year-old Loreauville boy who lost his life after drowning Tuesday was remembered with a balloon release on Friday morning.
The life of John Michael Steiner was honored this morning at New Heights Academy where he attended school. Friends and family were present for the event.
A gathering of Steiner’s family and friends will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia Friday evening from 4 pm until 9 pm. A rosary will also be prayed at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8 am until 10:15 am. Steiner’s funeral will take place Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville at 11 am.
