He is expected to arrive in Lafayette sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. KLFY will be live streaming the news conference.

Bourg appeared on the show last night and had the votes he needed to stay in the competition another week, but will need more votes to make it to the next round.

There will be a parade downtown on Jefferson Street starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, immediately followed by a concert in Parc International.

Bourg will also sing the National Anthem at the UL Ragin’ Cajuns baseball game vs. Georgia State at 11 a.m.
