A man is hospitalized after a Friday night shooting in Opelousas.

The incident happened around 10:45 pm in the 1200 block of Daly Street. Opelousas police say Marcus Aggison was shot twice in the stomach and remains in intensive care. Aggison was sitting on his mother’s front porch when about seven gunshots rang out.

Police say witnesses are not cooperating with detectives.
