Last month, due to the excessive rainfall that we were experiencing, the St. Martin Parish President, declared an Emergency Declaration for “No Wake” in accordance with St. Martin Parish Ordinances Sec. 14-2.7 and 14-2.10 due to high water.

Due to the current water level status, the No Wake Zone is being lifted. We are asking that people who will be traveling the waterways to continue to be respectful of those homes and camps along the water and please do not create an unnecessary large wake especially in the Stephensville and Belle River areas of Lower St. Martin Parish.

We will continue to patrol the area and we would like you to have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.
