Bach Luch, the free concert series at Parc Sans Souci in downtown Lafayette, has been canceled for Friday. Weather forecasts call for a high chance of showers and possible severe weather.

The series is scheduled to resume at noon April 17 with the Grammy-nominated Cajun band, the Magnolia Sisters. Lunches from Creole Lunch House, Poupart’s Bakery and Roly Poly will be served on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 11:15 a.m.

Proceeds benefit the Lafayette Science Museum.

The final Bach Lunch for the spring season is scheduled for April 24. Sunny Duval and Friends from Festival International de Louisiane will perform.

Lunches from Antoni’s, Artmosphere Bistro, Chris’ Po Boys, the French Press, Hub City Diner and Joey’s Specialty Meats will be sold.
