A 21-year-old was taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after he was shot inside a local bar.
Lafayette police responded to the Keg on McKinley Street at 1 am regarding a shooting. The victim was located in the 400 block of East University Avenue, but says he was inside the keg when he and a suspect began arguing.
The suspect took out a pistol and allegedly shooting the victim once in the left leg before fleeing. That suspect’s described as a black male, 6 foot tall, weighing approximately 300 pounds.
