VERMILION PARISH, La. (KLFY)– According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon, the Vermilion Municipal, and Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force made the following arrests for narcotics related offenses within the parish.
Justin Hebert, (dob:12-17-1990, of Kaplan), was arrested in Kaplan for:
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I, (marijuana)
- Cultivation of Schedule I, (marijuana)
- Possession of Schedule I, (MDMA)
- Possession of Schedule IV, (Alprazolam)
- Transactions involving Drug Proceeds
- Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance
- Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in the presence of a Juvenile
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Gene Zenon Sr, (dob:3-17-1957, of Abbeville), was arrested in Abbeville for:
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I, (MDMA)
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II, (Oxycodone)
- Possession of a Prescription without a Prescription
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule III, (Sublingal)
- Transactions Involving Drug Proceeds
Baji Ramos, (dob:8-3-1973 of Kaplan), was arrested in Kaplan for:
- Possession of Schedule I, (Marijuana 3rd offense)
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II, (methamphetamine)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, (2nd offense)
- Possession of Schedule IV, (Alprazolam).
A detainer was also placed by the Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Division.
Stephanie Akin, (dob:9-1-1966 of Kaplan) was arrested in Kaplan for:
- Possession of Schedule I, (Marijuana)
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II, (methamphetamine)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of Schedule IV, (Alprazolam).
