The following is a release from the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office:
(St. Martinville, LA)- Early this morning, Narcotic Agents and S.E.R.T. Members with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a property located in the 400 block of West Berard St. in St. Martinville, La.
Following the execution of the warrant, Narcotics Agents recovered high grade marijuana and materials used to package and distribute the illegal drug. David Odu, 35, St. Martinville, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession with the intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Marijuana)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Law in a School Zone
- Illegal use of a CDS in the presence of a juvenile
- Active Arrest Warrant for Drug Court
He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges and at the time of this release, no bond had been set.
