One person is recovering after a three-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
The incident happened around 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Ambassador Caffery Parkway and Eraste Landry Road.
Cpl. Paul Mouton said the crash happened when a pickup truck ran through the red light, hitting an oncoming SUV and pushing it into a Lafayette Transit System bus.
The driver of the truck, who was not injured, was ticketed for disobeying a traffic signal. The driver of the SUV was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
No one on the bus was injured, according to Cpl. Mouton. The crash remains under investigation.
