On Friday morning, Narcotics Agents and Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Grand Anse Hwy. in Breaux Bridge, LA., and following the execution of the warrant, illegal narcotics and firearms were recovered. The following two men were arrested and charged as follows:
Cory Theriot, Breaux Bridge, 38:
- Resisting an Officer by Flight
- Possession of Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Schedule II CDS (Amphetamine)
- Illegal Carrying of Weapons in the Presence of a CDS
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Illegal Possession of Stolen Things (stolen vehicle)
Kevin Darbonne, Sunset, 33:
- Possession of Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Schedule II CDS (Amphetamine)
- Illegal carrying of weapons in the presence of a CDS
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Following their arrest, they were both booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges.
