Get ready for a week packed with Ragin’ Cajun pride as Homecoming 2015 takes over campus!
Beginning Sunday, Oct. 25, UL Lafayette and the UL Alumni Association will host events all week long, ending with the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns squaring off against the ULM Warhawks at Cajun Field on Saturday, Oct. 31. All of the following events are open to the public, and we invite all of Lafayette and south Louisiana to share in our school pride. #RaginHomecoming #CajunsComeHome
Sunday, Oct. 25
| 4 to 6 p.m. | Ragin’ Cajuns Bowling at Lafayette Lanes: Hosted by the UL Alumni Association, pre-registration is required. |
Monday, Oct. 26
| 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Allons Manger: Food Truck Round-Up at the Alumni Center: Check out the local flavor for lunch as nine of Lafayette’s favorite food trucks pull in for an afternoon of music and good eats. |
| 6 p.m. | Ragin’ Cajuns Karaoke at Blackham: Singing! Dancing! Laughs! Watch the students put on a spirited evening of karaoke on the big stage as they kick off Homecoming week. |
Tuesday, Oct. 27
| 12:15 p.m. | Cake Giveaway and Spirit Banner Signing: Enjoy free cake and punch from University Program Council on the plaza near the Student Union and sign the spirit banner for the football team to celebrate homecoming week! |
| 7 p.m. | Homecoming Movie Night: Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and join the University Program Council for a Halloween-themed movie night on the Student Union plaza. |
Wednesday, Oct. 28
| 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Cajuns Can Care Food Drive at the Alumni Center: Drop off canned food to help local food pantries for the upcoming holiday season. |
| Last day to enter online! | Golf Cart Raffle for RCAF: Last day to purchase raffle tickets online for a Ragin’ Cajuns golf cart worth over $6,000 in support of the Athletic Foundation. |
Thursday, Oct. 29
| 6:30 p.m. | Yell Like Hell at the Student Union courtyard: Students bring the noise in a big way at this competitive Homecoming Pep Rally where groups are all vying for bragging rights. Catch the spirit at this night of music, performances, games and Ragin’ Cajun fun. |
Friday, Oct. 30
| 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Tennis Tournament at Red Lerille’s Health and Raquet Club: Pre-registration required. |
| 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Bill Bass Open Golf Tournament at Vieux Chenes Golf Course: Pre-registration required. |
| 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | Downtown Alive! Hosts UL Lafayette Homecoming Pep Rally with Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco Band for UL Spirit Night at Parc Sans Souci |
| 7:00 p.m. | NPHC Greek Step Show at the Heymann Center: Tickets required. |
| 7:30 p.m. | Annual Homecoming Concert at Angelle Hall: Free admission. Costumes welcomed. |
Saturday, Oct. 31
| 8 a.m. | Ragin’ Road Race: 5K Run: Starts at the Alumni Center. |
| 8 a.m. | Parking gates at Cajun Field open for cars with RCAF and handicap permits. There is a free parking lot behind the Hilton Garden Inn that can be accessed from Cajundome Boulevard. |
| 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. | Open House at the Alumni Center: Stop by before the parade. |
| 10 a.m. | Homecoming Parade: Begins at Blackham Coliseum and ends on St. Mary Blvd. by the Alumni Center. |
| 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Zydeco Brunch: Join us in Cypress Lake Dining Hall in the Student Union for an all-you-can eat buffet and live music by Corey Ledet. |
| 10 a.m. | Cajun Field ticket office opens: Purchase tickets at Cajun Field’s LHC Gate C and at the main ticket booth at State Farm Gate A. |
| 10 a.m. | Official Ragin’ Cajuns apparel outlets open: Buy your gear at the apparel outlets by Gate A and inside ‘Tigue’ Moore Field. |
| 1 p.m. | Trick or Treat Tailgating will take place in the tailgating and RV spots surrounding Cajun Field prior to the game. Children are encouraged to wear costumes! |
| 1:35 p.m. | Cajun Walk down Reinhardt Drive: Bring your ragin’ spirit and wish the team good luck before the big game. |
| 2:30 p.m. | Cajun Field gates open: Stop by the Ragin’ Cajuns apparel outlet inside Cajun Field before heading to your seat. |
| 3 p.m. | Band begins Ragin’ March along Stadium Way: Join the Pride of Acadiana Marching Band in the fight song and the classic “R-E-S-P-E-C-T.” |
| 3 p.m. | The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football team begins on-field warm-ups. |
| 3:45 p.m. | Pride of Acadiana Marching Band’s pregame performance. |
