BATON ROUGE, La. (7/16/2019) — Leaders with the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshall announced that effective at Noon today, the statewide burn ban has been rescinded.

However, they say localities still maintain the authority to order their own burn bans if conditions in their areas warrant it.
