UPDATE: Customers of the Lawtell Water District will not experience any outages tomorrow. There will also be no boil advisory.

Officials issued a statement earlier today that water would temporarily have to be shut off Friday due to a broken pipe at the water plant.

Spokesperson Barbara Moore said crews will receive assistance from the Prairie Ronde Water System to the shutoff.

Customers will not experience low water pressure.
