BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) – Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch will attend this week’s memorial service in Baton Rouge for the three fallen police officers, WAFB’s Kevin Frey reports.

The ceremony will be held at 2pm Thursday at Healing Place Church on Highland Road.

A funeral for the last of the three fallen officers, BRPD officer Montrell Jackson, 32, was held Monday.

Funerals have already taken place for BRPD officer Matthew Gerald and East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputy Brad Garafola.

All three men were killed in an ambush on police in Baton Rouge on July 17.

Three other officers were wounded but survived.
