YOUNGSVILLE, La. (KLFY)- The City of Youngsville will have one more additional flood-related debris pick-up within the city, according to officials.
The debris contractor will begin Thursday, Oct. 6 through Oct. 9.
City officials said because they do not know what areas will be picked up first, residents should prepare by having all debris brought to the roadside by Oct. 6.
A news release added that debris should NOT be placed in garbage bags unless they are clear bags.
City officials ask residents to not place any debris in the drainage ditches. Placing debris in draining ditches is illegal and will obstruct the flow of water.
Contractors who are hired to do repairs to your home are also responsible to remove the construction debris.
