UPDATE, Nov. 6: Officers say they found one victim of a shooting.

Roland Bernard, Jr., 52, of Abbeville, was taken to a local hospital, but he died from his wounds. No further information is being released due to the nature of the investigation.

ORIGINAL POST: ABBEVILLE, La. (KLFY) — Abbeville Police have confirmed they are investigating a homicide on Edwards St. that occurred shortly aftter 9:30 p.m.

Detectives are still on the scene and have not released any further information.
