A cold front is stalling across central Acadiana this morning causing a big swing in temperatures in the area. North of I-10 is starting the morning cool and comfortable with temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s where Lafayette and points southwards are much warmer and more humid. This frontal boundary will keep rain chances around 30% throughout your Friday. Most of Acadiana will see highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Storms are still looking likely for Acadiana Saturday afternoon and evening along with a low to medium threat for severe weather. Damaging winds will be the main concern but tornadoes are possible during the second half of Saturday too.
